As they approach their five-year wedding anniversary, it seems Chris Hemsworth and his wife Elsa Pataky are still as loved-up as ever. The Spanish actress has paid a romantic tribute to her heart-throb of a husband, just a few days before their milestone.

Showing her love and affection for Chris on Instagram, Elsa captioned a photo of the pair: "Every love story is beautiful, but ours is my favourite!"

The Madrid-born beauty and the Thor actor were pictured in a sweet embrace, posing barefoot on a beach in Australia.

Chris and Elsa, who have three children together, moved to Chris' home country late last year. The couple couldn't enjoy life Down Under more, and believe it is the best place to raise their three-year-old daughter India and twin sons Tristan and Sasha, who turn two next year.

Chris and Elsa are said to have bought a lavish beachside mansion worth nearly £5million in Byron Bay, which may well have been where the photo was taken.

Last week the actor was spotted arriving at Brisbane airport from New York, and now that he's back home, Elsa seems more than overjoyed that the family have been reunited for Christmas.

"There are so many beautiful reasons to be happy!" Elsa captioned another snap taken from the same photoshoot, which shows the pretty blonde wearing a maxi floral print dress.

Speaking about moving from LA to Australia, Chris said: "It's the first time in years I've felt like I have a home again. Since we moved back, I feel much more grounded, and I like that."

He added to Australia's Daily Telegraph: "We were living in California and it just wasn't conducive for the lifestyle that we wanted with kids. Los Angeles is tricky to get around, there's paparazzi to deal with.

"I thought Australia is where I want my kids to grow up – that's the world I want them to be a part of, because that part of the world is such a special place."
