Amy Schumer has previously said she didn't see herself settling down in a relationship, but it appears she has found love with a new man. It has been revealed that the comedian is dating custom furniture maker Ben Hanisch after she shared a photo of them together on Instagram.
While the couple have kept their relationship low-key so far, it appears things are quickly getting serious between them. Amy has already introduced Ben to her family and invited him to accompany her to the White House on Tuesday, where she was lending her support to President Obama's fight against gun violence.

A photo shared from the visit on Twitter showed Ben with his arm around Amy as they stood alongside her brother and sister outside the White House. "Fam and man at the whitehizzy", Amy wrote.
It appears Ben is equally smitten with Amy, and shared a sweet photo of them together over the New Year, telling his followers: "Sometimes in life you get extremely lucky, and the smartest, funniest, most beautiful woman comes along when you least expect it. Here's to what adventures 2016 brings!"

A source close to the pair told People that Amy is truly happy with her new man, and importantly he has won the approval of her sister Kim. "Amy is so, so happy. She calls him her boyfriend and says he constantly tells her how pretty, sexy and perfect she is. She feels like she hit the jackpot," the source said. "Her sister loves him and that's important because her and her sis are BFFs."
Amy's new relationship comes just days after she said she wasn't sure "how realistic" it would be for her to settle down and start a family.
Speaking to Barbara Walters, Amy said: "I would love those things, but I don't really see it for myself. I hope that happens, but I don't know how realistic it is."
