David Bowie stars in The Man Who Fell to Earth in 1976. The British science fiction film directed by Nicolas Roeg maintains a strong cult following for its use of surreal imagery and its performances by David Bowie in his first starring film role.

In 1986 adventure fantasy film Labyrinth starring David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly hits the screen.

Speaking about the first time they met, David said: "My attraction to her was immediate and all-encompassing. I couldn't sleep for the excitement of our first date. That she would be my wife, in my head, was a done deal. I'd never gone after anything in my life with such passion in all my life. I just knew she was the one."
