Bad news Spice Girls fans - it's looking more and more unlikely that we'll ever see Posh, Sporty, Baby, Ginger and Scary on one stage together again after Victoria Beckham has ruled out a reunion. There has been a lot of speculation that the band will reunite to celebrate their 20th anniversary in the summer, but it appears Victoria won't play any part in the comeback.

A rep for Victoria reportedly told TMZ that the mum-of-four has no plans to appear with them "now or in the future", adding that she has "been very respectful about the fabulous time they had together in the past, however her focus is now very much her family and fashion business."

Victoria Beckham has reportedly ruled out a Spice Girls reunion

The news will be disappointing to fans, after recent reports suggested that Victoria had decided to join the group for a select number of London shows.

"There are still lots of details to sort out, but Victoria's said she'll perform with the girls," a source told Closer. "However she stressed she needed to focus on David and the kids this year after a stressful 2015 of trying to juggle work and family life, so committing to all the dates would be too much."

The band last performed together at the 2012 Olympics

It is unclear what Victoria's decision will mean for the rest of the group, as Mel B has reportedly said she's reluctant to perform unless everyone's in.

Although the group remain close friends, Victoria has previously made it clear that she wouldn't be joining any future Spice Girls tours or performances following their comeback at the London Olympics in 2012.

"I won't ever do it again," Victoria told Vanity Fair Italy and Spain in 2014. "Doing the Olympics was an incredible honour. I was so proud to do it, proud to be British. That was a perfect time to say, 'That's great. Thank you to everybody, but no more.' Sometimes you've got to know when it's time to leave the party."
