Danny Dyer has been with fiancée Joanne Mas for 24 years, but he has admitted that he is "petrified" about their upcoming wedding. The couple are set to tie the knot in the summer, and Danny says that Joanne is taking the lead with the wedding planning.
Speaking during an appearance on ITV's Good Morning Britain on Thursday, he said: "We are starting the process of [wedding planning] actually, we just got Christmas out the way so you know the governor and the missus indoors, she's starting that process off."

He added: "Yeah it's happening this year, maybe September, August round that sort of time…Petrified… But in a nice way. But no, I'll let the missus deal with that, she's the brains of the outfit."
Danny got engaged to his long-term girlfriend in 2015, after she popped the question on Valentine's Day. Shortly after the proposal Danny told HELLO! that he never expected Joanne – the mother of his three children – to propose.
"It was a complete bolt out of the blue but I'm so glad she did it because I don't think I could have taken the rejection," Danny said. "I love the fact Jo proposed."

Jo added: "I've always wanted to marry Danny and I decided that if I didn't get things moving, it would never happen. I never wanted to get married when the children were babies because I wanted to let my hair down and enjoy the day. But we have had our little boy now and we're not going to have any more so the time is right."
The couple said they are preparing one of the biggest showbusiness weddings of the year in the summer of 2016, with several of Danny's co-stars from past and present on the guest list.
