In less than a month, Jacqueline Jossa and Dan Osborne will celebrate their daughter Ella's first birthday – but on Wednesday they took a break from their parenting duties to enjoy a date night together at the National Television Awards. The couple made an elegant appearance at the star-studded ceremony, where they mingled with stars from the world of TV.EastEnders actress Jacqueline, 23, looked chic and sophisticated in a floor-length strapless navy gown as she arrived at London's O2 Arena. Her husband-to-be Dan complemented her in a grey three-piece suit with a blue tie, as he posed with his arm wrapped around Jacqueline’s waist.

It was a rare evening out for the couple; Jacqueline and Dan welcomed their daughter Ella on 15 February 2015 and have no doubt started to make plans for her special birthday.The couple are also busy organising their wedding. They announced their engagement in June 2015 after former TOWIE star Dan popped the question during a family holiday to Greece – and he later revealed details of his romantic proposal."I wanted to do it in front of Jacqui's friends and family because I know how much they mean to her," Dan told Now magazine, explaining that he had arranged for a boat to be set up with a banner reading 'Will you marry me?' which he pointed out to her from a balcony.

"I said, 'Oh look at that boat,' and when Jacqueline turned around, I was down on one knee with the ring," he said. "She covered her face with her hands, she couldn't believe it. She kept saying, 'Oh my God, is this really happening?' She was really confused how it was possible for me to keep it all so secret from her, as she is so good at sussing things out."
