She may have been known as Baby Spice for the majority of her career but Emma Bunton is a baby no more. The former Spice Girl turned 40 on Thursday, celebrating with a string of her famous friends who called into her radio show to send their wishes in person, including former band members Geri Halliwell and Mel C.
The birthday girl was all smiles as she left the Heart FM studios with her fiancé Jade Jones and their two sons, Beau, eight, and four-year-old Tate, after enjoying a very special day in the office.

Co-host Jamie Theakston made sure the 40-year-old celebrated in style by setting up a bed in the studio where they presented the show.
He arranged for a whole host of Emma's celebrity friends to phone in with their birthday wishes, and although former band mates Victoria Beckham and Mel B didn't call in, Geri and Mel C's special messages kept Emma in high spirits.
"Happy birthday darling, it’s Geri," Ginger Spice said. "I hope you have an amazing day, can’t wait to see you later. Yeah you’re 40 but you’re still my little sister and I love you dearly. Big kiss."

Emma later revealed that Geri had gifted her 40 roses to mark her special day, sharing a snap of the bouquet on her Instagram.
She also heard from her good friend Mel C. "Have a wonderful day my darling. We love you very much," Sporty Spice said.

Ant and Dec also called in to send their love to the blonde bombshell. The Geordie duo were a little worse for wear following Wednesday evening's National Television Awards.
"Hello Em, Ant & Dec here but you know that, you can tell by our voices. Happy birthday – I hope you’re having a great day.
We just wanted to stop by and say we remember being at your 18th birthday party many, many, many, many, many moons ago. Have a great day today sending you lots of love and see you soon. Big kisses," the pair said.

Meanwhile, fellow Holly Willoughby offered a kind message which read: "Emma you naughty little Bunton. I love you very very much, I can’t believe the baby is now Old Spice. Happy birthday to you my darling."
Jade, her partner of 18 years, ensured that he and their two sons joined in the well wishes. "Happy birthday my darling. I hope you are having a wonderful day my love," he said. "Enjoy yourself and make you sure get Jamie to make you a cup of tea - it is your birthday after all. My darling I love you so much. Happy birthday and enjoy. I love you."
The couple's sons added: "We love you Mummy. I love you so so much."
