January 28, 2016

She is a hugely successful designer and between her and her husband, Victoria and David Beckham are said to be worth around £500million, so it's only natural that Victoria Beckham should have some wise words for her daughter Harper, and other mothers of little girls. The businesswoman and mother-of-four took a moment to send an empowering message to her 9.1 million Instagram followers on Wednesday.

The printed piece of advice read: "Teach your daughters to worry less about fitting into glass slippers and more about shattering glass ceilings." She completed the post with the motivational hashtags "#inspire", "#empower" and "#dreambig".Victoria's inspiring words are fitting for four-year-old Harper, who is a keen ballet dancer - she recently posted a snap of her little one dressed for dance. "Mummy is so proud of her little ballerina X ??? X vb," wrote Mum alongside the cute snap.

The 41-year-old also showed off a piece of artwork by her daughter and told fans that Harper loves school. "Happy Harper!??♥️?X Baby girl loves school X #proudmummy X vb," she captioned the cute coloured-in drawing. Victoria’s positive message for young girls follows another from Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, who recently welcomed baby daughter Max.

When a grandmother wrote to the technology mogul on Facebook telling him she was just trying to get her granddaughters to "date the nerd" in school, in case he turned out to be the next Mark Zuckerberg, the multibillionaire had the perfect response.

"Even better would be to encourage them to *be* the nerd in their school so they can be the next successful inventor!" Mark wrote. The post and reply became so popular that in one day it received thousands of likes and hundreds of comments. The hashtag "#BetheNerd" began circulating on Twitter.
