Lady Gaga will pay a special homage to the late David Bowie during next week's Grammy Awards ceremony. The singer, who was already confirmed as an act before the stars' passing on 10 January, will perform an "experimental tribute" that will no doubt leave everyone speechless.
"We had already booked Lady Gaga on this year's show, but when David passed — almost in a single moment — we knew we had to change direction," executive producer of the Grammy Awards Ken Ehrlich told JustJared.

"We immediately spoke and agreed that she should be the one to honor David. She's perfect for it."
Nile Rodgers, who produced David's 1983 album Let's Dance will be the musical director for the tribute.
Lady Gaga, 29, recently opened up about how the singer has influenced her during her career. "When I fell in love with David Bowie, when I was living on the Lower East Side, I always felt that his glamour was something he was using to express a message to people that was very healing for their souls," she told Hollywood Reporter.
"He is a true, true artist and I don't know if I ever went, 'Oh, I'm going to be that way like this,' or if I arrived upon it slowly, realizing it was my calling and that's what drew me to him."
Her tribute will no doubt wow the public, as did her tribute to Julie Andrews during last year's Oscars ceremony.
Not only did the hitmaker deliver a performance that caused a Twitter meltdown but after the tribute concluded, Julie Andrews appeared onstage to tell Gaga that the number had warmed her heart.
Speaking to People, Julie later said: "She hit it out of the ballpark. And then she was gracious enough to hand it to me. So that's a really wonderful thing to do too I think. As they say in Hollywood jargon, 'She rates tall in my book'."
