Kate Hudson did nothing to dispel reports that she is dating Nick Jonas as she appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show this week. The actress remained coy when she was asked by her host about her love life, confirming that she was "dating" but not whether she is in a relationship.Kate, 36, and Nick, 23, were first romantically linked in September when they were spotted in Florida. Since then they have been seen together on a number of occasions, including at a Super Bowl 50 party in San Francisco. On Thursday, they sent the rumour mill into overdrive when they stepped out for a romantic dinner at Italian restaurant Pace in Los Angeles.

A source told E! News that the couple exchanged "a light kiss" and that Kate touched Nick's leg at one point during the date. "There were laughs throughout the dinner and Kate had a huge smile on her face," the onlooker added. "Nick was a gentleman. You could tell they like each other."A second source confirmed that the couple spent hours together dining on the patio and left together in the same car.Like Kate, Nick is keeping his cards close to his chest when it comes to talking about their relationship. In a recent interview with Complex magazine, he was asked about the Kung Fu Panda 3 star.

"Kate's incredible," he said. "We had an unbelievable connection as two humans who just admire things about each other, and see something in each other that's beautiful. "Out of respect for Kate he said wouldn’t discuss whether they have a physical relationship, but he added: "We did have a beautiful connection. Even now I have so much admiration and respect. She's amazing. "The singer then told the magazine he is "very much single", adding: "But I'm trying to be as open to people who inspire me in some way."
