Happy birthday Ella! Jacqueline Jossa and Dan Osborne celebrated their daughter's first birthday on Monday, and to mark the toddler's milestone, the couple showered their little girl with dozens of gifts.

Jacqueline, 23, took to Instagram to share Ella's birthday celebrations with fans, apologising for the amount of pictures she was about to post.

Her adorable cutie pie was the centre of attention, posing in front of balloons that spelt out her name and a big number "1" light.

The little girl seemed to understand that today was all about her, as she smiled ecstatically in one of Jacqueline's photos. Another picture showed Ella scrambling around on the floor, reaching for her pile of presents. Some of her gifts were too big to wrap, including a bright pink Mini Cooper toy car.

Her proud parents decorated the room with Frozen and Minnie Mouse balloons, while also dressing their daughter in a sweet pink outfit.

"Our little 1 year old!! Happy birthday to the most incredible little girl!" wrote Jacqueline. "You light up my life and each day is getting better and better! We love you so much xx."

Meanwhile former TOWIE star Dan, who also has another son Teddy from a previous relationship, wrote on Sunday: "My baby girl is just too cute!! Can't believe she's 1 tomorrow where has time gone?!"

The couple are believed to be marrying later this year, after Dan proposed in June 2015, four months after Jacqueline gave birth.

Apart from juggling motherhood and wedding planning, Jacqueline is set to make an explosive return to EastEnders. Teasing her comeback, the actress, who plays Lauren Branning on the soap, said: "I love a big, angry storyline. I just want more pain. It's boring when they're happy."

She added to Fabulous magazine: "EastEnders is best at misery, sadness and anger, and I just miss screaming, crying – they're the scenes I am best at."
