Adele revealed she cried 'pretty much all day' after the Grammys

"In the room they actually sorted the problem and I'm always a bit pitchy anyways… It's emotion. When I'm flat and I'm sharp I'm just emotional, but it was fine. I wanted to tell everyone straight away because it seemed to be a lot of confusion about what it was. I was embarrassed. I woke up the next morning to people in England being like. 'We still love you, don't worry and I was like, 'I didn't ask you if you still loved me, but thanks.' I was so embarrassed. "She added: "I cried pretty much all day yesterday. In fairness I would have cried if it went really well as well. If it was a stand out performance I would have cried as well. I always cry."

Adele also told her host that she's nervous "more than ever" ahead of her performances as the pressure mounts with her success. "I don't feel like it could go that much worse than the Grammys though," she said. "So I feel like I'm alright now. Anything that happens, dust it off!"The 25 singer said she now has a plan in place in case of another live mishap. "Next time I have any sound issues I am gonna stop. I'll be like, sorry that's not working for me. If we have time to do it again, let's do it. Otherwise, bye!"
