She may be one of the biggest stars on the planet right now, but on Saturday Taylor Swift stood back from the limelight as she watched her two close friends get married. The popstar acted as the maid of honour to Britany Maack, a childhood friend that she grew up with in Pennsylvania, as she said 'I do' Benjamin LaManna in a stunning outdoor ceremony.
The 26-year-old looked elegant wearing a pink Reem Acra gown with a hand-embroidered bodice and chiffon cap sleeves. She finished her look with a lick of red lipstick and curled her light-brown bob.
Speaking about the wedding, Taylor told People: "I’ve never been a maid of honour before. This is my first time, and it’s really, really important to me because this is my best friend, who I’ve known since I was born. And she’s marrying someone I’ve known since I was 4."Discussing why she and the bride both chose Reem Acra gowns, the Shake It Off singer said: "Reem does the most amazing bridal designs, and Britany and I were looking through Vogue, and she pointed to this one gown, and I was like, 'I wonder if we could go to the showroom…,' "
