Chrissy Teigen was inundated with phone calls when her cookbook was published this week – but it wasn't just friends and family congratulating her on her new venture. The mum-to-be revealed that a number of fans had got in touch after her phone number was accidentally published in the book on a photo of her pet dog Pippa.
The 29-year-old said that the number was written in a "tiiiiiny" font on Pippa's collar, and she hadn't realised until she received more than 100 phone calls.

Sharing the blunder on Twitter, she wrote: "Early purchasers of my cookbook were gifted with my tiiiiiny phone number on Pippa's collar on page 111. Learned this after 100 or so calls!
"I have since changed it but thank you for all the kind voicemails!"
Chrissy also sent an advance apology to her friends for not replying to their messages.

"But really – to all friends, I had to change my number today so please don't be mad at me for not getting back to any texts!!!!" she wrote.
Despite the small error, Chrissy has been overwhelmed by the success of her book and said she "could cry" after a huge crowd of fans queued to meet her at a book signing in Los Angeles on Tuesday night.
The model has been sharing previews of her recipes on social media over the last few months and has said she is "so excited" for the book, called Cravings, to finally be released. Chrissy has been hard at work for months on the book with food writer and recipe developer Adeena Sussman along with her editor, Top Chef Masters judge Francic Lam.
The release of the book is not the only thing Christine has to celebrate; she is also expecting her first child – a baby girl – with husband John Legend this spring. Chrissy has been vocal about her excitement at becoming a mother and recently joined her friends Kim Kardashian and Kanye West for a shopping trip to stock up on baby supplies ahead of her daughter's arrival.
