Kim Kardashian has revealed where she and Kanye West went on their very first date, and it was quite unexpected. The pair hung out at famous New York toy shop FAO Schwartz, where they played Heart and Soul together on a huge floor piano.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star shared a short clip of their antics on Instagram on Monday, telling fans: "Our 1st date. #HeartAndSoul For the full video go to my app!"

Many of Kim's followers commented on how "cute" the video was, while others were reminded of a scene from the 1988 film Big where Tom Hanks plays on the larger-than-life piano.

Kim and Kanye started dating in April 2012 following her divorce from Kris Humphries, but had been friends for years. The couple have since gone on to marry and have their two children together – North, two, and Saint, who is almost three months old.

The 35-year-old revealed how their friendship turned into romance in an interview with Access Hollywood in May. "I was always attracted to him. When I first met him, we worked on a project together and there was definitely a spark, but we were in other relationships and we kept our distance, and that was that," Kim said.

"And then, I think it was six months after I was newly single in 2012, I was like, 'Why not? Like, what am I waiting for?'"

Kim posted a longer edit of the video on her official app and website, where she has also recently revealed what she thinks about her husband's infamous tweets. The reality TV star wrote a list of things she is "loving" at the moment and addressed his social media outbursts.

"Loving: my husband," Kim wrote, adding that she was hating "that people don't get that Kanye will stand up against the whole world for his creativity and art."

Meanwhile her mum Kris Jenner told Ellen DeGeneres she feels like she should "ground" her son-in-law following his outbursts.

"There have been days where there should be a no tweeting law," Kris confessed. "I feel like I will ground him."
