Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Liam Payne couldn't hide their affection for each other when they stepped out for a very public date night on Wednesday. The new couple walked hand-in-hand and couldn't stop smiling as they left a dinner celebration for Cheryl's PA Lily England's birthday at Salmontini le Resto in London.
The pair looked perfectly in sync in co-ordinating all-black outfits, and were followed closely behind by Cheryl's mum Joan Callaghan, who already appears to have given Liam her seal of approval.

Cheryl and Liam's date night came just a day after the One Direction star displayed his fondness for his new girlfriend by sharing a photo of her to mark International Women's Day.
"Happy #internationalwomensday to my favourite woman in the world… hope I make you as happy as u make me X," he wrote alongside a photo of Cheryl.
The pair had previously poked fun at the speculation surrounding their relationship, when the Promise This singer posted a selfie with a "mystery man" on social media, convincing fans that she was cuddling up to the 22-year-old popstar.

Their new romance was confirmed when Liam posted a picture of the pair lying in the back of a car, while Cheryl shared a cheeky photo with Liam and two male friends and asked fans to identify who was in her original snap. "My mystery man line up ? #whosthemysteryman #whoisit #whosworthit," she wrote.
It's thought that the pair have been romantically involved since December, when they reunited during the X Factor final.
A source told the Sun: "Cheryl and Liam are in a relationship. It was unexpected but they’ve both made each other incredibly happy. They’ve always got on well and share many of the same interests, but there was never anything romantic between them in the past. "Their relationship developed very quickly in December after the X Factor final where One Direction gave their final performance before starting their hiatus. Liam is madly in love. This is the real deal."
