Simon Cowell's little boy Eric is growing up fast – and he's taking after his doting dad in looks. The youngster was photographed by Simon's friend Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, who noted the similarities between the father-son duo.
Posting a photo on Instagram, Cheryl couldn't contain her excitement as she wrote: "Look at Eric Mini @SIMONCOWELL but cute!!"
The two-year-old looked adorable, wearing boat shoes and a smart shirt and shorts combo. Eric seems to have taken a leaf out of his dad's style book, wearing Simon's signature accessory – aviator sunglasses.

The photo appears to have been taken at Simon's house in Los Angeles. Cheryl and her rumoured boyfriend Liam Payne jetted off to the sunny city on Friday, and fans spotted them holding hands at the airport.
While some have speculated that Cheryl, 32, and Liam, 22, are on a romantic getaway, others have questioned whether the trip is more of a business meeting about The X Factor.

One Direction's Liam is rumoured to join his girlfriend and Simon on the judging panel, after Nick Grimshaw quit the show earlier this year.
Cheryl and Liam's romance first came to light last month, although the pair are said to have been secretly dating since December, shortly after the breakdown of Cheryl's marriage.
Liam hasn't been shy about showing his affection for the Fight For This Love singer. Last week he posted a photo of his "favourite woman" Cheryl and captioned it: "Happy #internationalwomensday to my favourite woman in the world hope I make you as happy as u make me X."

Simon, meanwhile, and his American girlfriend Lauren Silverman divide their time between the US and London, when Simon isn't filming his shows including The X Factor and Britain's Got Talent.
The couple recently celebrated their son Eric's second birthday on Valentine's Day in London, but it looks like the family are now back Stateside.
Simon and Lauren could be planning to expand their family soon. Last year the music mogul told HELLO! that he and Lauren would love to have a daughter, after initially being told by doctors that they were expecting a girl.

"I think if you have one child it would be lovely to have a girl," Simon, 55, said.
"When I was pregnant with Eric I was told by the doctors he was a girl," added Lauren, 38. "But he just fooled them. There were a few names floating around but we had our name picked out and it would be lovely to have a girl."
