Katie Piper has taken to Instagram to document daughter Belle's second birthday celebrations – and the little girl had a party fit for a princess. It appears that, like almost every other child her age, Belle is a big fan of Disney's Frozen, and 32-year-old Katie treated her to a party themed around the best-selling movie.

Alongside one of the pictures, Katie wrote: "@playdaysparties came and made Belle's birthday dreams true today – she finally got to meet her favourite snowman in real life #Olaf #Frozen [sic]."

Katie also shared a photo of Belle's Frozen-inspired cake, before revealing her little girl continued the celebrations once they were indoors. She revealed that, despite her daughter's love of princess movies, the only thing she wanted was a superhero crash helmet.

Katie kept fans updated with photos of her daughter's party

She explained: "It's Belle's official birthday today and she was very excited when she opened her gift from us – Spider Man crash helmet! Supposed to be for when she goes on her scooter but for some reason she likes to wear bike helmets around the house [sic]."

Katie, Richard and Belle then enjoyed a day out bowling – and the little girl almost beat her parents at the game! In 2008 Katie was the victim of a horrific attack, when an ex-boyfriend arranged for her to have sulphuric acid thrown in her face. The shocking incident has left Katie with lifelong injuries – but she previously insisted she'll use the experience to her advantage when it comes to her daughter.

Katie told Best magazine: "I want her to be an informed, educated person who can make her own choices. I also want to show her that, as a woman, you have so many different things to offer the world, so don't rely on one thing. If she is really aesthetically beautiful, then that is not her main talent."
