They are now even closer than ever, but British girl band All Saints have revealed that they split up in 2001 because their fighting drove the group apart. During an appearance on Alan Carr's chat show, the quartet – Nicole and Natalie Appleton, Shaznay Lewis and Melanie Blatt – admitted things got so bad between them all that they had started to "hate" each other. "We just weren't getting on any more and we kind of hated each other, so we just thought… let's stop," Melanie told host Alan. "Which was the right things to do, I think," added Shaznay, as the ladies opened up about their reasons for disbanding.

All Saints admitted that their fighting led to the group's split

"We didn't do it for the money. We didn't carry on for the money like some bands even though they hated each other," Melanie said.Fortunately, with time, the 1990s band have managed to put their differences aside, and are back with a brand new album, Red Flag."It's amazing. It's just heart-eyes everywhere. Love. We just have the best time," Melanie said of their reunion.

Nicole then added: "I think we just avoid it, purely just because we put everything on the table and say how we are feeling, but it's not even got to that yet. "In February, All Saints released their first official comeback single, One Strike - which was inspired by Nicole's highly-publicised divorce from Oasis' Liam Gallagher – and unveiled the track's music video (their first music video in nine years), earlier this month. The band have now announced their plans to hit the road on their first UK tour in 15 years. Shaznay, Nicole, Natalie and Melanie will be heading to Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Sheffield and London this autumn, with the tickets now on sale.
