If you've always wanted to dine with George Clooney and his wife Amal, you're in luck – but it will cost you. The couple have revealed they're hosting a dinner at their home in Los Angeles to raise money in support of Hillary Clinton.George, 54, and 38-year-old Amal will host the dinner party in April and tickets will set guests back nearly £24,000. The actor confirmed the news in an email to supporters of Hillary, according to Page Six.

The website reports George joked: "The good news is, I'm not cooking."The Hollywood actor has always been vocal about his support for the politician and in the email George heaped praise on her, calling her "a voice of tolerance and experience who's spent a lifetime fighting for the rights of the less fortunate. A candidate who knows first-hand the complexity of our international relationships".This isn't the first time George has got involved with an election. He previously hosted a dinner in support of Barack Obama, with tickets costing over £28,000 per head. The party went on to raise more than £10million.

George and Amal married in Venice in 2014, and he has since insisted she is the "most important thing in his world".Last year George told E! News: "Our deal is neither of us can be more than a week away and so far in general that has worked out pretty well. She is a barrister, which means she's independently employed and able to do her job in different places, so we try to move our schedules around to fit in with each other. "He added: "From the moment I met her until now, spending the rest of my life with her has been the most important thing and something that brings me the most joy in the world."
