Henry Cavill may be best known as Superman, but even the Man of Steel needs some support every now and then. The 32-year-old has opened up about his relationship with his girlfriend Tara King, 19, admitting that she is protective of him when he is "having a hard time".
Speaking to The Mirror about Tara, who is a student at Bristol University, Henry said: "She protects me and is protective of me when I am having a hard time. She's there when I need looking after and the world is a little too heavy.

"Then she will happily take that weight for me and make sure that I am OK."
He added: "Tara allows me to be me and she doesn't have a problem with that. She treats me like a normal human being."
Henry met Tara in London nightclub Mahiki last autumn and they have been inseparable ever since, with the History of Art student even joining her boyfriend at the Vanity Fair Oscars party in February.
The blonde beauty was also Henry's plus one for the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice premiere in London on Tuesday, where she posed on the red carpet alongside the actor and his mum Marianne.

Although the couple have faced a lot of speculation about their 13-year age gap, it isn't something Henry is bothered by. "People say age is just a number. It's actually a real and true sign of someone's maturity," he told ELLE magazine. "But in this case, she's fantastic."
He also admitted to being intimidated by Tara when they first met.
"When I met my girlfriend, I was super intimidated," Henry confessed. "I wanted to impress her. I was thinking, don't mess this up, man."
