Brooklyn Beckham came face to face with one of his idols on Wednesday, as he met Kanye West at a basketball game. The pair were both in the crowd to watch Kobe Bryant's final game for the LA Lakers at the Staples Center, and Brooklyn took the opportunity to pose for a photo with the rapper.

The black-and-white snap, shared on Brooklyn's Instagram account, showed Kanye and Brooklyn standing side-by-side – with Kanye appearing equally happy to meet his famous fan.

"Great to meet Kanye at the game tonight," he captioned the photo.

Many fans noted how happy Kanye looked in the photo, with one commenting: "Kanye is smiling. Brooklyn officially just got blessed."

Brooklyn has long been a fan of Kanye West, and often wears the Yeezy trainers designed by the rapper for Adidas. The teenager attended the game with his father David Beckham, who is a friend of Kobe Bryant. The retired footballer paid tribute to Kobe in a lengthy Instagram post, alongside a photo of them both sitting together on a sofa.

"Easier said than done… Congrats my friend on a career that many people dream of… @lakers @kobebryant @lagalaxy."

The Beckhams weren't the only famous faces to attend the historic game; joining them in the crowd were Jack Nicholson, Adam Levine and Jay-Z.

The family have been enjoying some time in Los Angeles over the Easter holidays, and attended another basketball game together a week ago.
