After months of speculation about his reconciliation about his relationship with Miley Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth is setting the record straight. The Hunger Games actor has dismissed claims that they are engaged – despite Miley being spotted wearing the engagement ring he presented to her in May 2012.
When asked about the rumours, Liam told TV Week: "I am not engaged, no."

However the couple are definitely back together and were spotted out in public for the first time recently, as they left the premiere of The Huntsman: Winter's War hand-in-hand. Miley has also been wearing her Neil Lane 3.5 carat cushion-cut diamond engagement ring for the last three months, fuelling speculation that their relationship was progressing quickly following their reconciliation over the New Year.
Things appear to be going so well between the pair that they have reportedly already moved back in together, and they already have the seal of approval from Miley's godmother Dolly Parton.
The country singer said she was "really happy to hear that they had gotten back together," during an interview with Entertainment Tonight in March, adding that she likes Miley and Liam as a couple.

Miley and Liam started dating in 2009 when they met on the set of The Last Song, and they were together on-and-off for three years before announcing their engagement in June 2012. The couple decided to split in September 2013 – but it was recently reported that Miley had been hoping to rekindle the romance for some time now.
"Miley never got over Liam. Despite them constantly fighting before the split, Miley always said Liam is the love of her life," a source told People.
"There were so many things that she loved about their relationship. They had a lot of fun and Liam was mostly very supportive of Miley. It seemed she was always hoping and dreaming that they would one day get back together again.
"It seems the feeling was mutual. Speaking to Us Weekly, a source said of Liam: "He's never met anyone quite like her who has that hold over him. He realises she was growing up and experimenting, he took a step back and gave her time to do that. Miley's always had a special place in his heart."
