Jodie Marsh has separated from her husband James Placido, just eight months after their surprise wedding. The 37-year-old confirmed with "sadness" that she and her husband had parted ways in an Instagram post on Monday morning.
"It is with sadness that I bring you the news that James and I have separated," Jodie wrote. "I will be keeping all the dogs with me. I won't be taking calls on the matter as I'd like to be left alone. I thank you in advance for your sensitivity on this subject…"

No further details are known about why the couple have decided to split so suddenly. Jodie had previously described James as her "soul mate" and shared a number of loved-up photos of herself and her husband together on social media.
The couple had adopted two rescue dogs together only a week ago, and they will continue to be cared for by animal-lover Jodie.
Jodie surprised fans in August by revealing that she had tied the knot in secret in Barbados. Sharing a close-up photo of their wedding rings, Jodie explained: "I have news. I just married the love of my life, my soul mate, my best friend; James Placido I love you and I'm so proud to be your wife.

"I promise to love you, support you, encourage you, help you and I promise to make you laugh every day of our lives."
It is the second time Jodie has walked down the aisle; she famously married Katie Price's ex-boyfriend Matt Peacock in 2007 following her reality TV search for a husband, but they split three months later.
Jodie has also dated Calum Best, Dane Bowers and former TOWIE star Kirk Norcross. In March Jodie revealed during an appearance on This Morning that she was single and looking to "meet someone nice".
