Madonna has been spending time with her son Rocco recently, and the mother-son duo were spotted dinning together on Wednesday night. Their reconciliation follows four months of estrangement amid Madonna's custody battle with ex-husband, Guy Ritchie.

The pair looked happy and relaxed as they posed with a group of friends at the popular London club, Chiltern Firehouse. The singer posted a snap on her Instagram and captioned it: "Fun in London with my homies."

The 57-year-old returned to London earlier this month in a bid to see her son for the first time since December after reports suggested she was concerned that the 15-year-old had missed too much school.

A source told The Sun at the time: "She has said she is prepared to fly over to London when Rocco gets back and take him to school herself. Madonna is concerned Rocco is going to be missing so much school. She wants Rocco to relax but his education is very important."

Last week Guy was spotted dropping Rocco off at Madonna's London home, where he stayed for two hours before leaving in good spirits. A source revealed to the Daily Mail that the family are working on resolving their differences.

They said: "Since Madonna's return to London, things have taken a definite turn for the better. Guy dropped Rocco at his mum's and they had a good chat before he went off to skate with his friends.

"Everyone is happier than they have been for weeks and it's great for all of them that life is getting back to normal."

Guy and Madonna, who divorced in 2008, are in an ongoing dispute over custody for Rocco, and have been advised by the High Court Judge Mr Justice MacDonald to resolve their conflict for the sake of their son, so they can enjoy the remainder of his "precious" childhood.
