Russell Brand is set to become a father for the first time, according to reports. The 40-year-old British star is said to be expecting a child with girlfriend Laura Gallacher, who is thought to be five months pregnant.According to the Sun, Russell is "made up" about the prospect of becoming a dad, and has already been discussing potential baby names. A friend told the newspaper that Russell is totally focused on Laura, 27, and their unborn child.

"They have been living as a couple for the last six months and are determined to make a go of their relationship," the insider revealed. "It feels like a new chapter in their lives and (they) are enjoying every moment, including discussing baby names. "Russell is absolutely made up. Most of his closest friends have children and he was desperate to start a family. He and Laura are thrilled to bits at the prospect of becoming parents. They have shared their happiness with close friends and family."
