Petra Ecclestone and her husband James Stunt have been the victims of a terrifying attack at their £66million home in west London. A lit petrol bomb was thrown at their Chelsea property, before landing next to 27-year-old Petra's Range Rover, the Daily Mail has reported. Thankfully the couple, and their three young children, were not at home when the incident took place. The Metropolitan Police have said they are investigating the attack, and it is thought that two men have been captured on CCTV running away from the scene.

"The whole family are really alarmed by this," a friend told the newspaper. "It's horrific. They are determined to find out who was behind the attack. "A spokesperson for billionaire businessman James said that they believed the incident was "the action of a disaffected member of the public who disapproves of the Stunts' lifestyle".Petra, who is the youngest daughter of former Formula 1 tycoon Bernie Ecclestone, and sister of Tamara Ecclestone, dated James for four years before they tied the knot in an incredibly lavish ceremony near Rome in 2011. They are parents to three-year-old daughter Lavinia, and twin sons James and Andrew, aged one.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman confirmed: "Police were called to reports of a fire outside a residential property. Officers and the London Fire Brigade attended the scene. The fire was dealt with. "Detectives from Kensington and Chelsea are investigating. No arrests have been made and inquiries into the circumstances continue. "Sadly it is not the first time that Petra and James have been targeted. In 2013, £500,000 worth of jewellery, including diamond earrings and a diamond Rolex watch, were stolen from their £32million mansion in Belgravia during a property viewing.
