Justin Timberlake has opened up about his concerns regarding his son growing up in the spotlight. The singer, who shares 13-month-old son Silas Randall with his wife Jessica Biel, revealed how he intends to give Silas "perspective".

Speaking on The Today Show, the 35-year-old said: "He’s 13 months old right now, but you think about the next five years and the next five years after that, and you think about the fact that he just got here. He hasn’t made any choices. He chooses eggs or bananas.

Justin revealed he intends to give his son "perspective"

"You think a lot about the lives that me and my wife lead, but I wonder what privacy’s going to mean in 20 years. Those are the questions that enter my mind, for sure, but I think that’s something that you don’t have control over."

He continued to say that he hopes he gives Silas a good understanding of his fame, saying: "The best thing I can do is to try every day to give your kid perspective so they understand what it means and what it doesn’t mean."

The doting dad is clearly enjoying fatherhood, and joked about his experiences taking care of his baby son. Speaking to Carson Daly during a radio interview, Justin said: "Here's what I'll say, all I know is I don't know what the hell I did before. Every day is just watching them grasp onto something and learn something new. It blows your mind. It's been an extremely humbling experience, and I've never had more poop on my person."

Show producer Sven Stojanovic said: "This is a fantastic opportunity, we are very happy and excited that Justin Timberlake will perform his new song together with his band in our show."
