Former X Factor bad boy Frankie Cocozza has shown off a new look – and we almost didn't recognise him. The Brighton-born singer was infamously axed from the ITV talent show in 2011 but, judging by these pictures, he's all grown up now.
Frankie, 23, was known for his rock and roll-inspired outfits and wild hair, but a quick glance at his social media reveals he's finally discovered hairbrushes… and his wardrobe has been updated, too.
Frankie Cocozza looks very different these days
He's swapped his loud shirts, baggy skinny jeans and leather jackets for vintage-style Fred Perry shirts, chinos and loafers. Despite his music career failing to take off, Frankie still commands a small army of loyal followers. He has more than one million followers on Twitter and 140,000 on Instagram. Not bad for someone who didn't make it past week six of The X Factor.
The former X Factor bad boy previously opened up about fame
And Frankie stills lives like a rock star, even if he doesn't quite have the bank balance of one. Speaking previously to The Sun, he confessed his family now looks after his finances because of his extravagant spending.

Frankie said: "My auntie, bless her, she's like a proper businesswoman, so I went to her and said, 'Can you look after all my bank statements?' She went through and she was like, 'Frankie, you spent thirty grand last month'."
But Frankie also revealed the darker side of talent show fame: when the work dries up.
He added: "The worst bit about it is I didn't succeed on The X Factor so I couldn't get a career out of it. So I'm sort of in this middle stage where people know who you are but you haven't got enough money to live, so you still need to do certain things to live."
