Helen Hunt has taken to Twitter to share the funny moment that an overly-confident Starbucks barista mistook her for fellow Oscar-winner, Jodie Foster. The As Good As It Gets star told her fans that as she placed her drinks order on Monday, she was quickly (mis)identified before she could give her name. "Ordered my drink @Starbucks. Asked the barista if she wanted my name. She winked and said 'We gotcha' #JodieFoster," the 52-year-old actress tweeted, alongside a photo of the cup which was handed to her by the barista – who had also misspelled the name and written 'Jody'.

The coffee company has since responded to the actress' post, apologising for the incident with a cheeky tweet of its own that read: "Sorry about that! We hope the drink was still as good as it gets. "It's not the first time that Helen has been mistaken for Panic Room star Jodie. During an appearance on The Late Show in 1994, Helen admitted that "a lot of people" think she looks like the 53-year-old actress. She told host David Letterman: "Last Thanksgiving it was my job to buy the Thanksgiving turkey, and I was in the supermarket and I got to the checkout counter with my 100-pound turkey, or something, and the guy is checking me out and says, 'You're Jodie Foster.'

"And I said, 'I'm actually not, thank you.' 'No, you are, I know you're Jodie Foster.' 'I'm begging you, I'm not, I'm really not.'"In the end, Helen revealed, she had to show her ID to prove her identity – and the cashier then withdrew his offer to give her the turkey for free. "No more free bird at all," she explained. "He wanted to give me a free turkey, and then I'm not Jodie Foster, so pay up!"
