As Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris call time on their 15-month romance, take a look back at their love story in pictures...
Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris first met at the Brit Awards in February 2015, and were spotted chatting to Rolling Stones rocker Mick Jagger backstage. The pair hit it off, and it wasn't long before dating rumours began.
The couple appeared to confirm their romance when they were spotted attending a gig in Hollywood together at the beginning of April that year, following a string of dates.
Their first high profile appearance together came just a few weeks later at the Billboard Music Awards. Taylor and Calvin cemented their status as music's hottest new couple by sharing a number of affectionate moments throughout the awards ceremony, and couldn't appear to take their eyes off each other as they sat side-by-side.
A number of loved-up date nights followed, and friends noted how happy Taylor appeared with her new man. Calvin even won the seal of approval of Taylor's close friend Ed Sheeran, who described the DJ as a "really really nice guy."
By the summer their relationship was heating up, and Taylor and Calvin quickly dethroned Beyoncé and Jay Z as pop's power couple. The smitten duo were declared the highest-earning duo in the world by Forbes with combined earnings of $146million thanks to Taylor's global hit album 1989 and Calvin's lucrative DJing career.
"It's going absolutely fantastic," Scottish DJ Calvin enthused about their relationship in July. "It's interesting because obviously there's a different thing written about it every day and even if we don't do anything publicly for a while someone will make something up.
"But for me it could be a lot worse and I'd still be like insanely happy with her, so I'm good with it."
Things may have been "absolutely fantastic" between Taylor and Calvin, but they found themselves the subject of a number of rumours, including one which suggested that the singer was planning to buy a Scottish castle to be closer to her new boyfriend's family.
Taylor addressed the speculation on Twitter using lyrics from her song New Romantics. "'Cause baby I could build a castle out of all the bricks they threw at me' – a line from New Romantics," she wrote. "But I'm not actually buying a castle."
Over the months that followed the pair also faced speculation that Calvin had been unfaithful, prompting him to threaten legal action for defamation of character.
But by December it was clear that the couple were stronger than ever as Calvin joined Taylor and her family to celebrate Christmas together, with the pair showing off the snowman they built with Taylor's brother Austin.
Calvin was on hand to congratulate his girlfriend following her hugely successful night at the Grammys in February. Fresh from winning three awards, Taylor joined the DJ to celebrate at Hyde nightclub in Los Angeles, where she couldn't resist planting a kiss on his cheek as they partied with friends.

March marked Taylor and Calvin's first anniversary, and they celebrated in style. As well as sharing a photo of their homemade "one year cake", Taylor revealed that Calvin had bought her a beautiful gold heart shaped locket engraved with their anniversary date.
"3.6.15 One year down!," Taylor captioned the snap.
They continued the celebrations with a romantic holiday, which they shared with their fans on social media. The couple couldn't have appeared happier as they shared a kiss on the beach, with Taylor also sharing a snap of herself and her boyfriend's initials written in the sand.
Taylor had one person in particular to thank as she was honoured at the iHeartRadio music awards in April; her boyfriend Calvin. The 26-year-old praised the DJ as she accepted the award for Best Tour.
"For the first time I had the most amazing person to come home to when the spotlight went out and when the crowds were all gone," Taylor said. "So I want to thank my boyfriend Adam for that and I love you guys so much."
The Wildest Dreams singer also opened up about her relationship in an interview with Vogue magazine, admitting that although she was head-over-heels in love, she wasn't in a rush to walk down the aisle.
"I'm just taking things as they come," Taylor said. "I'm in a magical relationship right now. And of course I want it to be ours, and low-key … this is the one thing that's been mine about my personal life."
Things appeared to be going swimmingly between the couple as recently as April, when Taylor made her Coachella debut to support Calvin's headline performance. The DJ was closing the festival with his set, and an enthusiastic Taylor shared a video of herself in the crowd telling fans she would "never forget this moment".
Taylor also skipped the Billboard music awards in order to be by Calvin's side after he was injured in a car accident at the end of May. However it appears their relationship had run its course and on 1 June it was announced that the couple had parted ways.
"There was no drama," a source told People. "Things just don't work out sometimes."
