While Taylor is yet to speak out, she retweeted Calvin's message to her 78 million followers, suggesting they have remained on good terms following their surprising break-up.
News of Taylor and Calvin's split came to light on Wednesday. Sources close to the couple reiterated Calvin's message that the relationship had simply ran its course, telling People: "There was no drama. Things just don't work out sometimes. No one cheated."

Things previously seemed to have been going well for the couple, who celebrated their one-year anniversary in March by baking a cake together, and Taylor discussed her relationship with the Scottish-born DJ in her May interview for Vogue, saying: "I'm just taking things as they come. I'm in a magical relationship right now. And of course I want it to be ours, and low-key… this is the one thing that's been mine about my personal life."

The 26-year-old star also included Calvin in a thank you speech at the iHeartRadio awards back in April, addressing him by his real name, Adam Wiles. She said: "For the first time I had the most amazing person to come home to when the crowds were all gone and the spotlight went out so I'd like to thank my boyfriend Adam for that."
The I Need Your Love DJ is currently recovering after being involved in a serious car crash in May. After he was forced to cancel several gigs on doctor's orders, Calvin tweeted his fans: "Thank you so much for your messages and sorry to any disappointment I caused with the show cancellations. I'm feeling lucky and very grateful rn."
