While Harry Styles is reportedly planning on going solo during the One Direction hiatus, it appears Niall Horan has decided to form anew boyband to perform with. Sort of. The 22-year-old has teamed up withcomedians John Bishop and Paddy McGuinness to create the group One Lad and 2Dads, and the trio have already shared their first band photo with fans.
Taking to Twitter to announce the news, John joked: "Newboy band – me @NiallOfficial and @PaddyMcGuinness – we are called One Lad and 2Dads."

The news was well received by the comedian's fans with one light-heartedlyreplying to ask when they'll be going on tour. "Not gonna lie, I'd probablybuy the album #WhenAreYouGoingOnTour," they wrote.
But One Direction fans needn't worry, the announcement wasjust a joke thought up by the trio while they train for UNICEF's Soccer Aid footballmatch on Sunday. Niall is leading the Rest of the World team, and is set to gohead-to-head with his bandmate Louis Tomlinson, who is the captain of theEngland team.

With an eclectic array of stars such as Mark Wright, Jack Whitehall and Marvin Humes joining the teams it is set to be an entertainingevent, but training hasn't all gone smoothly. Dad-to-be Gordon Ramsay iscurrently recovering after rupturing his Achilles tendon during training, whileMcFly star Danny Jones has also been forced to pull out of the competitionafter fracturing his elbow on Thursday.
Sharing a photo of himself with his arm in a sling, Dannywrote: "Fractured my elbow!!! Gutted is an understatement. All the teamhave looked after me @socceraid thanks guys. I'll still be there Sunday to supportthe guys. Cmon England!!"
