The partner of former EastEnders actress Sian Blake has admitted murdering her and their two sons. Arthur Simpson-Kent confessed to the murders when he entered guilty pleas at the Old Bailey via video link from Belmarsh prison on Friday morning.
Sian, 43, and her two sons Zachary, eight, and Amon, four, were first reported missing on 13 December. Their bodies were found buried in the garden of the family home in Erith, London on 5 January.

Arthur had left the UK days after Sian and the two children were reported missing, and was arrested on a beach in Ghana by local police in January – four days after their bodies were found. The hairdresser agreed to be extradited to the UK, where he was arrested at Heathrow Airport.
Mr Simpson-Kent, 49, has been remanded in custody until a three-day sentencing hearing, starting on 4 October.

Speaking outside court, Sian's sister Ava said the family were "really relieved" by Arthur's plea.
Sian played Frankie Pierre in 56 episodes of EastEnders between 1996 and 1997. The actress had also appeared in episodes of The Bill, Casualty and Doctors, but her last on-screen role was in 2009. She had been suffering with motor neurone disease before she died.
