Ronnie Wood has kept a relatively low profile since he and wife Sally welcomed their newborn twin daughters in May. However, the Rolling Stones rock star delighted his fans when he took to the social media website to share a sweet message about his little girls.

"The twins are a delight," he wrote in a short Twitter post on Sunday, alongside emojis of baby's drinking bottles. The 69-year-old musician also took the opportunity to pay homage to the Queen's birthday, as celebrations took place across the country.
"Enjoy all your street parties today - #90BrightYears #Queenat90," he wrote.
Ronnie and Sally became proud parents to their daughters Gracie Jane and Alice Rose on Monday 30 May. "Ronnie & Sally Wood are delighted to announce the birth of their twins Gracie Jane (6lb) & Alice Rose (5.7lb)," read a statement from the couple's rep. "The girls arrived on 30th May at 10.30pm and all are doing brilliantly. The babies are perfect."

While this marks Sally's first time as a mother, Ronnie already has four children - Jesse, from his first marriage to Krissy, and Leah and Tyrone with second wife Jo Wood, and he also adopted her son Jamie from a previous marriage.
Ronnie had previously opened up about his excitement at becoming a father again for the fifth time, and told HELLO! magazine how he planned to take on all the jobs associated with newborn babies.

When asked if he would be changing nappies, he replied: "I'm very good at it. I'm going to be changing the nappies and all that goes with it. I'm looking forward to all that.
He added:"I'm unbelievably lucky and unbelievably blessed. I love all my kids. I love being a dad and to have this happening is just wonderful. I'm a lucky guy."
