"We're together healing as a family, but we want to thank everyone again for all your amazing support and well wishes. I'd especially like to send a big thank you to the team at Portland Hospital for everything they've done. Gx."
Gordon, 49, shares Megan, 17, Holly, 16, and 14-year-old twins Jack and Matilda with 41-year-old Tana, and made the announcement they were expecting again during an appearance on James Corden's The Late Late Show.
The couple - who have four teenage children - were expecting a son
He told James: "We have three girls and boy... and one more on the way!"
After receiving huge applause from the audience, and a hug from James, Gordon continued: "I'm a little bit nervous, the baby's due in September. Obviously I'll be happy with another girl."
He added that Tana was "doing well and looking forward to expanding the family".
Tana previously opened up to The Guardian about their struggles to conceive. She explained: "I suffer from polycystic ovaries and Gordon has a low sperm count, which is probably down to the kitchen - the hours, the stress, the heat. So we had IVF [to conceive Megan] which made me feel like a complete failure."
