Her shock split from TV star Nick Knowles was announced in January. Now, five months on, HELLO! online blogger and budding novelist Jessica Knowles has opened up to HELLO! magazine about their painful separation, ultimately revealing that, for the most part, she is finally "at peace" with where their relationship is now.Taking her first sunshine break as a single mum with her and Nick's adorable 21-month-old son Eddie, at the luxurious five-star family hotel of Princesa Yaiza in Lanzarote, the pretty 28-year-old, who married popular DIY SOS host and quiz show king Nick in an intimate ceremony in Rome in 2012, says she doesn't regret a moment of their time together, though she admits that Nick's decision to end their marriage "blindsided" her.

"Nick and I were spending so little time together and the times we were together, we were arguing a lot. But I thought we could fix it. I thought we could get back to what we had before," says Jessica. "But Nick works so incredibly hard. That, coupled with the fact that we weren't getting on, I think led him to believe he was truly making the best decision for the family. "The couple continue to be supportive of one another and are both committed to providing as stable an environment as they can for their son. "Nick is the most wonderful father to Eddie and they adore one another," says Jessica. "His face completely lights up whenever he sees Nick."
