Doting dad Peter Andre's latest trip overseas has been plagued with worry after his eldest daughter Princess Tiaamii was rushed to hospital. It was revealed earlier this week that Princess, eight, underwent an emergency operation but further details have yet to be revealed.
Pete, 43, is said to be receiving regular updates and will be ready to fly home if his daughter needs him. A source told The Sun: "Pete is not in the country but he's aware of what's happened and he's waiting by the phone to find out the latest but he's been assured that they think Princess will be OK."
Peter Andre is in constant contact with the UK over Princess's condition
The insider added: "Pete is assessing the situation and if her condition gets worse he will come home."
Singer Pete, who shares Princess and son Junior, 11, with ex-wife Katie Price, is currently expecting his second child with new wife Emily. Loose Women panellist Katie, 37, broke the news of Princess's mystery condition on Twitter.
Pete was joined by Junior and Princess in Cyprus earlier this month
It's thought that Pete is currently spending time with family in Cyprus, where he was joined by Princess and Junior earlier this month. This week he posted a sweet snap of him with all three of his children, and captioned it: "Family time in our beloved Cyprus last week."
And, despite everything that's going on, the Mysterious Girl hit maker was sure not to forget Junior's birthday on Monday.
Next to a cute snap of his son, Pete wrote: "Happy 11th birthday to my beautiful boy."
Pete has yet to comment on the news of Princess's hospitalisation.
