George had previously opened up to Heat magazine about the upcoming arrival of his first child, saying: "I'm ecstatic. I am so, so excited. It was so amazing when we found out we were having a girl."

He continued to chat about knowing his girlfriend was the one, saying: "Gemma was genuine. After we'd been seeing each other for a week, she said, 'It's nice going out and all that, but can't we just stay in together?' That's when I knew it was proper, because she wasn't just interested in being seen with me."

It is an exciting time for the Gogglebox family, as Brighton hairdresser Stephen Webbe, who appears on the show with his friend Chris, revealed he was engaged earlier this year. He tweeted: "I asked the lovely @lustig75 to marry me in the beautiful surroundings of the Oberio hotel in Agra, and he said yes!"

Meanwhile, Sandra, who appears on the show with her best friend, Sandy, has also revealed that she is planning on wedding her boyfriend Derek in Las Vegas, telling The Sun: "Derek is so shy I'll have to help him down the aisle. I would like a big white dress and big white wedding, but Derek wouldn't want crowds, so we'd love to go to Las Vegas, just the two of us, and have Elvis marry us. It could just be us having a laugh."
