David was recently seen taking his second eldest son, Romeo, out at the 2016 Aegon Tennis Championships at Queen's Club, and told atpworldtour.com that his son was a keen tennis player. He said: "Right now (tennis) is his sport. He gave up on football at the ripe old age of 13 and now he plays tennis four or five times a week. He enjoys himself."
Tennis coach John Johnson has also spoken about Romeo's tennis skills, telling the Daily Star: "He has a lot of talent and very good hand-eye coordination. I'm going to have a meeting with his mother about it to reinforce that because I'm not sure his parents realise how good he is.

"Romeo really loves tennis. He is really into it and very talented. Romeo has a natural swing and is very enthusiastic. He just loves it. He kept telling me and I could see how focused he was. He is very energetic, very quick and strong."
