Raising a smile in the picture, Gordon and Tana appeared to be putting on a brave face, and attempting to move on from their tragic loss.

The couple, who have four children, sadly lost their baby in June. Gordon shared an official statement on Facebook, writing: "Hi guys, Tana and I would like to thank you so much for your support over the past couple of weeks. We had a devastating weekend as Tana sadly miscarried our son at five months.

"We're together healing as a family, but we want to thank everyone again for all your amazing support and well wishes. I'd especially like to send a big thank you to the team at Portland Hospital for everything they've done. Gx."

Jack Ramsay said his dad "inspired" him every day

Holly called the Hell's Kitchen star the "number 1 Daddy" while Matilda posted a jokey photo of her dad holding up doughnuts to his face. "I love you so much," she wrote.

Gordon's youngest child Jack sweetly said "you inspire me every day" alongside a photo collage of the pair.

Gordon's wife Tana, who he married in 1996, has previously opened up to The Guardian about their struggles to conceive. She explained: "I suffer from polycystic ovaries and Gordon has a low sperm count, which is probably down to the kitchen - the hours, the stress, the heat. So we had IVF [to conceive Megan] which made me feel like a complete failure."
