The subject arose when James asked about Selena's part in Taylor Swift's "squad" alongside celebrities including Karlie Kloss and Gigi Hadid. The Late, Late Show host claimed that the group were sexist because they hadn't invited any men to join them.

"No men in the squad ever?" James asks, prompting Selena to reply: "Find me a boyfriend and then we'll talk about it."
The Love You Like a Love Song singer, who has been single since splitting from Justin Bieber, admits she's "on the lookout" to meet someone new.
"Sure. Why not?" she tells James. "I don't know, I like to have fun."
James and Selena's journey took a surprising detour when the fun-loving pair stopped by an amusement park and rode on a rollercoaster – all while singing Selena's hit Come and Get It.

"Now you're ready to start your day," an unfazed Selena tells James when they return to the car.
The pair collaborate on a number of Selena's songs, including Same Old Love, Hands to Myself and Kill 'em with Kindness before stopping by a McDonalds drive thru, where the staff get over excited when they realise who they're serving.
"James Corden is also in the car, she couldn't care less," the British host joked as the server didn't recognise who he is.
Selena is the latest famous face to appear on Carpool Karaoke
Selena follows in a long line of celebrities who have participated in James' Carpool Karaoke Sketch, including Jennifer Lopez, Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato, not to mention her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber – who has appeared three times.
However James recently admitted that although the sketch is a runaway success now, it very nearly didn't go to plan when his first guest Mariah Carey initially refused to sing.
"She came out and said, 'Oh, I'm not singing today,' and she went, 'We'll just drive around and have a chat,'" James recalled during in an interview on Howard Stern's radio show. "I went, 'Oh, right. It's just, we call it Carpool Karaoke, so without that...' And then I thought, I've just gotta go. I've just gotta jump into it. Even if this bit is just me singing to Mariah Carey, it's still on the show. It may not be the recurring bit that we hope it is, but it's still probably on the show."
