It's a special time of year for Peter Andre's eldest daughter Princess. The little girl celebrated her ninth birthday on 29 June, and her dad very proudly marked the occasion on Instagram, sharing a beautiful photograph of his blonde-haired, blue-eyed "cherub".

Pete's fans were quick to comment on the picture and share their happy birthday messages for Princess, and within a few hours of posting, the image had already received nearly 10,000 likes.

Princess spent the eve of her birthday enjoying a family day out with dad Peter, step-mother Emily MacDonagh, her older brother Junior and little sister Amelia. The clan headed out to Port Lympne Wildlife Park in Kent for a fun safari adventure, and 26-year-old Emily – who is pregnant with her second child – was pictured doing a great job entertaining the two girls, while Pete hung back with 10-year-old Junior.

The couple announced the happy news that they are expanding their family at the end of May, when Peter shared a scan photo with fans on his Instagram account. "OMG dad to be AGAIN :))) Brilliant. So so happy," the 43-year-old captioned the snapshot.

Princess, meanwhile, seems to have made a full recovery after breaking her arm earlier this month. The little girl had to undergo an operation after badly injuring herself in a fall, but has quickly bounced back, and was without her cast for Tuesday's outing.

It is not known exactly how Princess broke her arm. However, both she and Junior are currently filming for mum Katie Price's new reality show, Katie Price's Pony Club, which will follow Katie as she sets up her own horse school with Princess, Junior and four of their friends, and see the youngsters take on the elitist word of pony clubs.
