It's been an amazing couple of weeks for Pippa Middleton, so it's unsurprising she couldn't keep the smile off her face during a bike ride in London on Tuesday afternoon. Duchess Kate's sister recently got engaged to hedge fund manager James Matthews, who popped the question with a beautiful diamond ring.

Despite the estimated £250,000 price tag, 32-year-old Pippa wore the rock with ease as she cycled through traffic in the city. The columnist looked as chic as ever in an outfit that combined clashing animal prints.

Pippa kept cool in a crocodile-print blouse, which she teamed with white skinny jeans and a pair of python-print shoes. She topped off the look with a faux crocodile skin helmet and black sunglasses. The gorgeous look was certainly eye-catching – but Pippa's envy-inducing diamond stole the show.

She's been spotted out and about a few times since getting engaged, each time looking happier than ever, and Pippa has already confirmed she and James – brother of Made in Chelsea's Spencer – plan to marry next year.

And, if the traditional proposal is anything to go by, we're certainly in for a treat! A source told the Daily Mail: "James is a traditionalist and very much wanted to do things properly. That meant getting consent from his future father-in-law.

"Mike and Carole are very happy. They like James and they are sure he will make Pippa very happy."

Kate and Prince William also shared their excitement over Pippa and James' news, and a spokesperson for Kensington Palace said the royal couple are "absolutely delighted".
