She was once as well known for her escapades off screen as she was for starring in Coronation Street, but Helen Flanagan has credited motherhood with helping her realise what's important in life.
Helen, 25, and partner Scott Sinclair welcomed baby girl Matilda in June last year, and the actress appeared on ITV's Loose Women on Wednesday to talk parenting and their plans for another child.

"I was lost before I became a mum," Helen explained during the frank chat. "She has made me so much happier. It changes your priorities and you realise what's important but I am completely besotted with her. It is really full on but you don't realise how much until you actually become a mother yourself."
Although she undoubtedly wants only the best for Matilda, Helen previously received some negative feedback when she confessed she and 27-year-old Scott were co-sleeping with their baby.

Helen continued: "We did do that but we have a different routine now. It wasn't something that we planned to do but when she was four or five months old, I was breastfeeding her and she ended up in bed with us.
"I would never want to promote sleeping with a newborn as it's dangerous. I felt guilty when I read about it. It's only when they are old enough or strong enough."
All eyes were on adorable Matilda as they left the studios
Viewers took to Twitter to heap praise on Helen, who has also appeared on I'm a Celebrity in the past. One user wrote: "Ah @helenflanagan1 is looking so calm, radiant and at peace on @loosewomen. #Motherhood definitely suits her."
Another added: "Actually pleasantly surprised with Helen Flanagan on Loose Women. Motherhood seems to have done her the world of good."
After the show, Helen and Matilda were snapped leaving the studio and the proud mum happily stopped for photos. While she beamed for the waiting photographers, Matilda was definitely the centre of attention in a pretty pink dress and matching headband.
