Rumours surrounding Kristen Stewart's personal life have been rife for the past few months after it was reported that she was in a relationship with film producer, Alicia Cargile. The Twilight star has now officially confirmed their relationship, telling Elle UK that she is "just really in love."
The 26-year-old told the magazine: "Right now I'm just really in love with my girlfriend.

"We've broken up a couple of times and gotten back together, and this time I was like, 'Finally, I can feel again.'"
The star opened up about her relationship to prove that she wasn't "ashamed" of it, saying: "I was like, 'Actually, to hide this provides the implication that I'm not down with it or I'm ashamed of it, so I had to alter how I approached being in public."
Kristen also spoke about the difficulties that came with other relationships, hinting that her high profile relationship with her Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson from 2008 to 2013 was "trivialised." She said: "When I was dating a guy I was hiding everything that I did because everything personal felt like it was immediately trivialized, so I didn't like it.

"We were turned into these characters and placed into this ridiculous comic book, and I was like, 'That's mine. You're making my relationship something that it's not.' I didn't like that."
Kristen's mother Jules previously confirmed that her daughter was in a relationship with Alicia, telling The Mirror: "She's happy. She's my daughter, I'm just her mom so she knows I would accept her choices. I've met Kristen's new girlfriend, I like her. What's not to accept? She's a lovely girl."
