Friday 29 July marks Heart's Feel Good Day of the Year, and the radio presenters Mark Wright, Emma Bunton, Jamie Theakston, Gethin Jones and Jenni Falconer have opened up about what makes them feel good.

All of the presenters have taken part in a fun photoshoot... from sweets to football, check out what the radio presenters' favourite things are and why.

According to Heart's research, the final Friday of July is the happiest day of the year, and Emma has revealed that she loves the sweeter things in honour of the occasion, saying: "I have the sweetest tooth – you know what they say, sugar and spice, all things nice! Sweets remind me of seaside holidays with my parents – walking along the pier, getting messy in the sand and splashing in the sea always made me feel good, and now I’m doing the same things all over again with my own children!"

On the other hand, Mark has said how football is his passion, saying: "I've loved football for as long as I can remember, and I’ve been lucky enough to play alongside some absolute legends.  Whether it’s Soccer Aid or a game of five-a-side with the lads, there’s no better feeling than getting out there and working together as a team."

Jenni shared her love of balloons, saying how they "bring back so many happy childhood memories," while Jamie favours a good bacon sandwich, saying: "It's the perfect feel-good breakfast food and it helps with the early starts.  At the weekends I like making breakfast for my family," while Gethin is a huge fan of coffee, calling coffee with friends his "favourite thing to do."

The research, which was carried out by psychologist Dr Cliff Arnall, revealed that people particularly love the final Friday of July as schools have just began their summer holidays, it's payday for most workers and exam period is over. He said: "Friday 29th July is the ultimate sweet spot where the various factors which contribute to a feeling of wellbeing and happiness all come together to create the ultimate feel-good day."

To celebrate the day, Heart is giving away over £10,000 with Heart's Happy Summer Days. Tune in on 96-107 FM, at heart.co.uk, or on the Heart app.
