Kylie Jenner is a huge dog lover, and welcomed her fifth puppy to the family on Saturday. The reality show star has been sharing snapchats of her adorable new puppy, which was a surprise early birthday gift, and has named her Penny.

Kylie's friend Jordyn Woods surprised her with the new pup, and the 18-year-old shared a video of herself being surprised by Jordyn and some other friends who carried little Penny through the house to catch the make-up designer off guard.

Penny has joined Kylie's other pet dogs, three Italian Greyhounds, Norman, Bambi and Sophie and a Daschund named Ernie. Kylie shared several videos with her fans showing how the other dogs reacted to Penny's arrival, saying: "Ernie I've never seen you like this before" as he circled around Kylie's newest puppy.
The star shared an Instagram post of herself with Penny, writing: "mom duty." Fans of the star have been quick to praise the adorable new addition to Kylie's canine family, with one writing: "What kind of dog is that? It's so cute!" while another wrote "OMG can I have Penny?"
Kylie replied to a fan's question who asked her if she was surprised by Penny on Twitter, saying: "So surprised! Jordyn told me she was going to the doctor.. & came back w penny! I had no idea."
The dog lover has previously received criticism regarding her pets after it was reported that she underfed them. However, Kylie denied the rumours, and responded by saying: "I only let them drink purified water. I have a little system connected to my sink. Right now I'm in the middle of trying out a bunch of different organic dry foods and a wet food, too."
