He's conquered the rap world and is attempting to take over the fashion industry, but now Kanye West is preparing for a new business venture. The 39-year-old has confessed that he'd love to design furniture – with Ikea being his dream client.
Kim Kardashian's husband recently spoke to Radio 1 and, in an interview set to air on Monday evening, he made a public plea to the Swedish furniture superstore to allow him to design dorm rooms for students.

Kanye West wants to design furniture for Ikea
Addressing himself in the third person, Kanye said: "I have to work with Ikea – make furniture for interior design, for architecture. I know that if I do a minimalist apartment inside a college dorm where the TV goes on the side of the wall… Yo Ikea, allow Kanye to create, allow him to make this a thing."
He added: "Because, you know what, I want a bed that he makes, I want a chair that he make."
The Famous hit maker has never been one to shy away from controversy, but he insisted he doesn't have an opinion when it comes to politics.
Kim Kardashian recently revealed the truth on Snapchat
"I don't have views on politics," he said. "I have a view on humanity, people, the truth. If I can somehow make a difference while I'm alive, I'm going to do it."
Meanwhile Kanye recently spoke about his feud with Taylor Swift for the first time. On Famous, Kanye raps about the Shake it Off singer and suggests he helped further her career – something she later insisted she'd had no warning of.
But Kim then posted videos showing Kanye calling ahead of the release and Taylor agreeing with the lyrics. During an appearance on stage with Drake last week, Kanye told the crowd: "I am so glad my wife has Snapchat, 'cause now y'all can know the truth."
