Jack Osbourne speaks out in support of parents

August 5, 2016

Jack Osbourne has spoken out in support of his parents, Ozzy and Sharon, after it was revealed that Ozzy had been unfaithful to Sharon during their 32 years of marriage. After announcing a brief separation back in May, the couple have reconciled and revealed that they are "back on track" following their split.

The only son of the famous couple told SiriusXM's Sway in the Morning: "They're working on it. You know, they're trying to rein it in. They've been together for so long and this isn't their first rodeo."

Jack opened up about his parents' marriage

He opened up about his relationship with his parents, saying: "They don't have this picture-perfect marriage, and they've never claimed to, so they're just trying to figure it out, I guess.

"My take on it is, whatever happens, my parents are still my parents – it's not like they're going to be like, 'Well, do you want to go live with your dad or your mom?' So you kind of just support where you can and focus on whatever you need to get done – I've got my own kids and my own marriage to work on."

After Michelle Pugh, a hair stylist who claimed to be in a four-year relationship with the rock star, came forward, Ozzy released a statement acknowledging his sex addiction. He said: "Over the last six years, I have been dealing with a sex addiction. I'm sorry if Ms Pugh took our sexual relationship out of context.

He concluded the statement thanking Sharon for her support, saying: "I thank God that my incredible wife is at my side to support me."

The Black Sabbath band member claimed that all was well in their marriage following the controversy, and recently opened up about their relationship during an interview on Good Morning America. He said: "We are married, all is good. You just, you make your mistakes, and you learn by your mistakes, I think.

"Some days it's good, some days it's terrible, some days you just drift apart for a while. But you get back on the horse, you know."
